MR Compatible EEG System Now CE

Following EGI's long tradition of producing quality research and clinical equipment under strict regulatory guidelines, EGI is pleased to announce that our MR compatible EEG system, the GES 300 MR, now bears the CE Mark.

EGI Reports Solid Growth in 2009

2009 was EGI's most financially successful year yet, due in part to the introduction of strong new products such as the GES 300 MR, which is the world’s first truly high channel count EEG system for use in MR environments, and the new GEM product line for ambulatory and routine EEG applications.

Latest EGI Product Releases

GeoSource 1.0

GeoSource is EGI's new electrical source estimation software that maps the electrical potentials measured at the head surface with a distributed solution of activation across the cortex. GeoSource offers a choice of head models, including a realistic finite difference model (FDM) based on EGI's detailed analysis of head tissue geometry and conductivity. Because GeoSource is seamlessly integrated with Net Station, there is no need to export your data to a separate software application. This integration allows you to scroll through your scalp EEG data and simultaneously view the sample-by-sample changes in dipole amplitudes and orientations. For pricing and ordering information, please contact EGI's order desk.

Net Station 4.3

In response to user recommendations, Net Station 4.3 includes key changes in the Viewer interface to increase workflow efficiency and convenience. Users can now save their favorite workspace configurations, so that Viewer settings do not have to be reset manually each time a new file is opened. Default sensor montages, such as the 10-20 array, are now available for re-referenced files. Also new is the ability to use the First Order Highpass filter in the Viewer. Additionally, the Segmentation tool now operates on both the EEG file and the video file. All Net Station users with a current Net Station Software Subscription will receive a free upgrade to 4.3.

GPS 1.1

GPS 1.1 is a software release that improves usability to significantly decrease the time required to solve sensor positions. The redesigned interface affords increased visibility of the cursor and sensor images with built-in image zoom, and provides better user feedback at each stage of the process. Sensor positions can now be exported as text, for import directly into the Net Station Viewer and GeoSource. All current GPS customers are eligible for a limited-time free upgrade!
